The Southern Ohio Buckeyes is structured as a non-profit semi-professional football team, that dedicates themselves

 to becoming part of the community through playing football and conducting other activities throughout the year.  We pride ourselves on being a very family oriented team that appreciates all that people do

for us and so we try to give back when we have the ability!

   We are in our second year of existance. In 2012 the Buckeyes were formed and accepted into the Northern Frontier Football League. In our first season we went 11-2 in the league with 1 loss being due to a forfeit. The Buckeyes held the best record in the league last year and were both division and conference champions. We however, fell to the Tri-State Sharks in the league championship game by a final score of 57-47. We went on to win the Miami Valley Saints invitational, beating the Tri County Raider of the Crossroads Football League by a final score of 27-14.

   We will be holding a pre season game on Saturday, May 4th against the Ohio Crush. Kickoff for this game will be at 4pm at Clinton Massie High School. On May 11, we will hold our second pre season game against the Ohio Diesels. Kickoff will be at 7pm at Clinton Massie High School. We also look forward to our upcoming season. Our league schedule is out and it can be viewed on our website.

The Buckeyes polish off the Mount Vernon Militia By a final score of 70-0 Bringing our record to 4-0. Next up is the Dayton Diesels. The game will be Saturday June 22 at Clinton Massie. Kickoff will be at 6pm. Come out and support your Buckeyes.

The Bucks keep rolling as they run through the Dukes by a Final score of 37-6. We will return back home to Clinton Massie to take on the Mount Vernon Militia on Saturday 6/15 at 6pm.

Congrats to one of our Buckeye family as Scott Powell and his wife Heather tied the knot today. We wish the both of you a long and happy life together.

The Bucks steam rolled the Lima Steam in their home opener by a score of 55-6. Next week the Bucks will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Northwest Dukes.
